Create Valentine’s Day Jars
Decorating old mason jars is the perfect way to get in the spirit for Valentine’s day.
All you need to do is grab some old mason jars and some red, pink, and white paint. Then, paint the jars to your liking and fill them with either Valentine’s candy or flowers.
Buy Some Flowers
Flowers are the perfect way to spice up your apartment for Valentine’s day.
Here are some of the best Valentine’s flowers:
- Mini pink orchids
You can either put these flowers in your mason jars or you can buy special Valentine’s day vases.
DIY Kiss Balloons
Got some red or pink lipstick? If so, you’re ready to make some DIY Valentine’s balloons.
All you need to do is blow up some white balloons, put on some lipstick, and then start smooching all of the balloons!
If you want to kick these balloons up a notch, you can grab some sharpies and write Valentine’s day sayings on each balloon.
Candy Heart Garland
Candy hearts are an essential part of every Valentine’s day. So, why not make a candy heart garland?
All you need to do is grab some different colored construction paper and cut them into heart shapes. Then, you can write little messages on each one like “be mine”, “kiss me”, or “cutie”.
Then punch holes in the top of the hearts and string them through a piece of red or white string.
DIY Floral Heart Wreath
This one is a twist on the classic Christmas wreath.
To make these DIY floral hearts, you’ll need to gather 5 to 6 bunches of artificial flowers, a grapevine wreath, a hot glue gun, and wire cutters.
Then, use a wire cutter to cut the flowers from their stem and tuck them into the garland wreath. If you want the flowers to stay in there permanently, you can dab them with a glue gun before tucking them in.
Work your way around the wreath, being careful not to leave any gaps. Then, hang your wreath up when you’re done on the inside or outside of your door!
