Ice Skating at Headwater Park

YLNI Winter Farmer’s Market

Located at Wunderkammer Company on Fairfield, the YLNI Winter Farmer’s Market is a continuation of the popular Barr Street Market. The market features fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and more. The market is open the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month through March. Visit for more information.

Weather the Fort

Try something different this winter with an outdoor festival! The inaugural Weather the Fort features a heated tent for local bands, interactive art, fire performances, ice sculptors, coffee tasting, and a food and beer tent. Admission is free, and the festival takes place at Freimann Square on February 20. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Down the Line 10th Anniversary

The Down the Line Concert Series features rock-solid local bands covering classic rock favorites. The 2016 edition takes place over two days on February 26 and 27 at the Embassy Theatre. This year bands will be performing the music of Elvis Costello, AC/DC, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Blondie, and more.

Komet Hockey

The Fort Wayne Komets have home games on February 6, 19, 21, 24, 26, and 27. Tickets are available at the Coliseum box office or online through Ticketmaster.

Mad Ants Basketball

The Mad Ants play at the Coliseum on February 2, 5, 9, 16, 25, and 28. Tickets are available at the Coliseum box office or online through Ticketmaster.

Fort Wayne Derby Girls

The Derby Girls, Fort Wayne’s own roller derby, opens their season on February 6 at the Memorial Coliseum. The Fort Wayne Derby Girls are a not-for-profit sports team that has given more than $60,000 to local women and children’s charities since the team started in 2006.
