Thanks everyone for coming to our first ever Brunch & Bingo this past Sunday! We had such a great time, despite the heat, hanging out with our residents and enjoying some great food and games! (See pictures on our facebook page!)

We had a lot of you tell us how much you enjoyed the egg casserole and asked for the recipe. So, Sherry was kind enough to share her coveted recipe with us! We only ask that if you make it, please share some with us in the office! 😉

Ingredients

6 eggs
2 cups of milk
1 tsp of salt
1 C. of shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices of bread – torn into pieces
1 lb of cooked sausage

Directions

Whisk together the eggs and the milk then add the salt, shredded cheddar cheese, torn bread pieces, and cooked sausage. Pour into glass 13×9 pan- cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 min or until golden brown on top.

The recipe can be altered to your taste:
other ingredient suggestions: ham, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, broccoli, spinach.
